Derivation: Boxes by students of EESPSCF Saint-Mard
Hey, last month I received a notification on the Facebook page of Pepper&Carrot coming from the page of the EESPSCF Saint-Mard; a specialised Belgium school. It was a post with over 40 photos of lovely DIY themed after episodes of Pepper&Carrot. Here is a translation of the message sent by Norah Flammang, teacher at EESPSCF Saint-Mard:
Amazed by the boxes made by the students about Pepper & Carrot (a webcomic by David Revoy π₯°π). I didn't really know what to expect, I was like 'we're testing', but they turned to be real artists π€©. Everyone was free to represent the scene of their choice, in the frame of respecting a few guidelines (especially on the decor on the outside of the box). This work was done at home following the transition to hybrid home/school education. They took pleasure in making their box, a shared pleasure in sharing the fruit of their work with the whole class. This comic is free/libre and accessible on all media (pc, tablet, smartphone, and of course in paper version). There is not necessarily a lot of text to read on it, which is not negligible for some students, and the humor between the duo is quite well appreciated βΊοΈ. ~ Norah Flammang (teacher at EESPSCF Saint-Mard)
I asked the permission to also share this boxes here on the blog because I wanted this visual to not be only stored on Facebook ;-). I put all of them here under on a gallery. A big bravo to the students, your boxes are great! π Also, bravo to their teacher for the excellent idea.
