I can't not comment... Carrot looks like a sayajin shifu goku turned to cat XD
βdavidrevoy
@ntoyohito Haha, thanks! I never thought about Master Shifu of Kung Fu panda, but now you say it, he does has something about it.
For Goku, it's really intentional (his name Carrot = Kakarot ) πΊ

oh, Bergen. Been there a couple of times. Were you able to visit the old hall of the king (or whatever it is named)?
EDIT:
Ah, HΓ₯konshallen that is.

@ij Hey, I'll visit it next week ( https://www.davidrevoy.com/article1041/raptus-comic-convention-in-bergen-norway ). Thank you for the links, I'll keep them preciously to visit something, I have a day before the comic convention and a morning after to explore a bit the city alone. βΊοΈ

Hope you'll have a nice stay!
Bergen is being said to be the most rainy city in Norway, but everytime I was there, it didn't rain. ;)
Make also sure to visit Tyskebryggen (or short: Bryggen: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bryggen) and the near-by fish market.
Ah, and in Bryggen make sure to find and visit this house:

Reminds me a little of Peppers house and maybe you can find some inspirations. π

bunad pepper!
βhaakon@streams.elsmussols.net
Pepper look very nice in this interpretation of one of the many Norwegian bunad! :-)
Bunad are different in different parts of Norway, and if you have one, you usually wear the one where you were born, or where your parents are from, or gtandparenta are from.
I believe the one you have put Pepper in is similar to the bunad in Bergen, which you can see at
https://m.norskebunader.no/en/product/7987/0/bergensbunad
and many more for women around the country
https://m.norskebunader.no/en/category/2014/dame
and men too

davidrevoy
@haakon Wow! Thank you for the links, nice references. The page that inspired me was this good blog post http://folkcostume.blogspot.com/2016/03/overview-of-norwegian-costume-part-3b.html?m=1
βminixos@mastodon.social
incredibly super cute Owo. Since I first saw your drawings, I have a strong tendency to draw cat eyes the same way as you do.
βpilum@fedi.j1nk4l.com
Lovely!
βFrom someone who spent 5 years studying in Bergen. π
Tourma@tech.lgbt
Very jealous of bunads. They're so pretty. If I ever move there I might have to see if I can get a traditional Slovak dress for such outings.
(Ethnically, I'm Slovak, but if I ever move to Europe, it'll be to be by my BFFs down by Stavenger.)
davidrevoy
@Tourma I love so many folk clothing of europe in general. I should browse them more often to get design inspiration for my fantasy comics.
βChange@discuss.systems
very good π

βrandal_silversword@mastodon.social
Quite amazing
βbegsby@liberdon.com
Oh hi David, thought some one blocked you. πΈ
βdavidrevoy
@begsby hey! I'm glad it's not the case. But now you mention it, it gives me the idea to check to profiles I used to follow and that are now dormant; maybe they aren't dormant and my instance or their instance blocked the communication silently before we noticed...
mhunt@socel.net
Looks great!
βantonproitzelhaimer@mastodon.social
They look sweet.
:gnomeHey:
βachadwick@urbanists.social
apprentice witches, cat familiars, and Scandinavian port cities go together especially well, of courseβ¦ π

Very nice! They look comfortable in those clothes.
MouseDotExecutable@mastodon.art
I don't think I would be able to resist drawing my characters with those clothes either. They look so cool!
Awesome art, it looks nice!
Clawswipe@mastodon.art
Wow, how fun! They look great in "bunads"! Thank you for visiting Raptus, David! Listening to you was the festival highlight for me!
maia@mastodon.art
@Clawswipe Yeah for me too ^^
