私の刀を持つ [Hold my blade]

Thanks google translation, I couldn't resist to write my title in Japanese... So cool !

Welcome in the medieval Japan with a girl in pink kimono and a katana. An inspiration from one of my favorite manga ; 無限の住人, Mugen no jūnin ( 'L'Habitant de l'infini' in french, 'Blade of the Immortal' in English ).
This speedpainting was done entirely in Gimp, trying to improve my brush-kit and my style. I hope you like it.

( note : thanks Chamomile in the comments for the Japanese correction )

En Japonaise, la verbe pour tenir est 持つ (mostu).

Donc, la titre doit être "私の刀を持つ".

Hey, many thanks all for the comments,
Merci beaucoup !

@Chamomile : Je vais mettre tout ça à jour ( et aussi conclure que Google translate est aproximatif universellement ).
Et pour corriger la correctrice, en français on dit " En Japonais , le verbe [...] " ;-)
Merci pour la correction !

かたな (katana) would have been better!!

Thank you! I tried to use Google translate.
Should I just replace the 3 last characters with your proposition ?

(I have been studying Japanese for just two months so take this with a grain of salt:)

I guess 刀 would already be pronounced as かたな (katana), so I think the current title is fine. It would be pronounced "watashi no katana o motsu" - "hold my sword".

You could ask the Japanese Pepper & Carrot translator to be sure :)
