Man, great workflow, we thank you a lot for this post, I hardly ever use free software, because it's easy photoshop, but sometimes I saw you make a beatiful work with these free tolls, but not only making simple comics, but awesome comics. And i'm stay curious about Krita.
My first impression it is similar to photoshop, but very clean.

Thanks and congrats

i dont know if i will ever learn to use all the features of Krita....i feel like im floundering around sometimes.. all i know now is to use the brushes and draw and paint but the inner features are still a mystery to me.. this helps me to explore more bravely!

I can't help but notice that you're using a Philips monitor that sort of looks like the same model that I'm using.
Did you ever notice that it produced a slight sepia tint instead of white?

:-)
The monitor is really blueish/greenish without calibration.
Here I calibrate both with a Pantone Huey Pro ; and I set the calibration whitepoint color temperature to 6500K , white level 'as mesured' and tone curve to Gamma 2.2. http://www.pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=105217 I get a accurate whitepoint ; but the screen color space lack deep blue/violet and slightly green to display the sRGB color space. ^__^ But I really like the frameless design of this screen.

Me too, it's one of the first monitors I got without a thick bezel. And thank you for the reply. It sort of reassured me that I can still calibrate this monitor :)
